Masala Coffee

Ingredients

  • Milk - 1¼ mug
  • Water - 1 mug
  • Sashi’s Chai Masala - ⅓ tsp
  • Coffee granules - 1 to 2 tsp (adjust to strength)
  • Sugar - 3 tsp (optional, adjust to taste)

Cooking Method

  1. Start by adding water to a pan and set the heat to medium-low.
  2. Add Sashi’s Chai Masala and sugar; simmer 2–3 minutes.
  3. Once simmering begins, pour in the milk.
  4. Let the mixture simmer on medium heat until it bubbles. As it rises, reduce heat; then increase again and repeat the rise/reduce cycle 3 to 4 times.
  5. After 8 to 10 minutes of simmering, take two cups and add coffee granules into each. Strain the mixture into the cups and mix in the coffee.

Points to Remember

  • Adjust the level of Sashi’s Chai Masala according to taste.
  • Be careful not to let the drink overflow while simmering.
