Masala Fish (Dry)

Masala Fish Dry, spicy fish fry dish

Ingredients

  • Skinned white fish fillets - 500g (approx)
  • Sashi’s Fish Masala - 1 tbsp
  • Salt - 1 tsp (adjust to taste)
  • Turmeric - ½ tsp
  • Chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Minced/grated ginger - 1½ tsp
  • Minced garlic - 2 tsp
  • Freshly squeezed lemon - ½
  • Corn or plain flour - 1 tbsp
  • Oil (of choice) - 1½ tbsp

Cooking Method

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl and mix well.
  2. Refrigerate for a couple of hours or overnight. (Take out of the fridge a couple of hours before cooking - optional but ideal.)
  3. Cook using your preferred method - oven, pan, BBQ or air fryer - to your preferred doneness.

Points to Remember

  • Substitute the fish with halloumi as an alternative option.
