Masala Coffee

Serves: 2

  • Milk – 1¼ Mug
  • Water – 1 Mug
  • Sashi’s Chai Masala – ⅓ tsp
  • Coffee Granules 1 to 2 tsp (Adjust to desired strength)
  • Sugar – 3 tsps (Optional - adjust to taste)
Cooking Method
  1. First add the water into a pan and set hob to medium to low heat
  2. Add Sashi’s Chai Masala and sugar into the pan. On a medium heat let the mixture simmer for 2 to 3 mins
  3. As soon as the mixture starts to simmer, add the milk into the pan
  4. Now let the mixture simmer on medium heat until it starts to bubble to the top. As the tea raises to the top of the pan, reduce heat. Once again, increase hob to medium heat and let the tea simmer to the top and reduce heat. Repeat process 3-4 times
  5. Once the mixture has been simmering for around 8 to 10 mins, take 2 cups, add 1 to 2 Tsp of coffee in each and strain the mixture into the cups. Mix the coffee and you’re ready to drink
Points to Remember
  • Adjust level of Sashi’s Chai Masala according to taste
  • Be Aware not to let the drink overflow over the pan
