Lamb Burgers

Cook Time: 10-15 Mins
Serves: 4

  • Lamb Mince 1kg (Can use minced chicken/pork or beef)
  • Sashi’s Chicken Masala 1 tbsp
  • Sashi’s Garam Masala ½ tbsp
  • Salt 1½ tsp (adjust to own taste)
  • Turmeric ½ tsp
  • Chilli Powder 1 tsp
  • Minced/grated Ginger 1½ tsp
  • Minced Garlic 2 tsp
  • Red Onion - 1 small finely chopped
  • Mint Leaves finely chopped - 8 sprigs (optional only in lamb)
Cooking Method
  1. Add the mince and all the other ingredients in a large bowl
  2. Combine the mixture and make 8 patties and place on tray
  3. Refrigerate the patties in the fridge for a couple of hours or overnight. Take the mixture out the fridge couple of hours before cooking (Optional but ideal)
  4. Cooking option of choice - oven, pan, BBQ or air fryer. Cooking time to your preference
Points to Remember
  • Substitute the meat for Soya mince for vegetarian/vegan option and blend the soya mince in the blender to make it finer and easier to bind. (Add 2 eggs for vegetarian option for binding if required)
  • Cooking method and time should be to your preference.
