Tandoori Chicken

Tandoori Chicken, charred and juicy

Ingredients

  • Chicken breasts (chopped) or thighs or legs - 1 kg,
  • Yoghurt (thick Greek style ideally) - 150 g
  • Sashi’s Chicken Masala - 1½ tbsp
  • Minced garlic - 1½ tbsp
  • Minced/grated ginger - 1 tbsp
  • Salt - 1½ tsp (adjust to taste)
  • Freshly squeezed lemon - ½
  • Chilli powder - 1 tbsp
  • Oil (of choice) - 1½ to 2 tbsp

Cooking Method

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl and mix well.
  2. Refrigerate for a couple of hours or overnight. (Take out of the fridge 1 to 2 hours before cooking if possible.)
  3. Cook using your preferred method - oven, pan, BBQ, or air fryer - until the chicken is cooked through and lightly charred to your liking.
